Fragmented - For New Mills Festival 2014

Fragmented - Currently being installed at Torrs Hydro New Mills

Created by Years 7, 8 & 9 pupils from New Mills School Business & Enterprise College with Lou Godley, Sarah Poynter and Amanda Whewell.

Inspired by a collection of 216 objects rescued from the Rivers Goyt and Sett in the Torrs Riverside Park.

The installation consists of 300 fabric strips, each one a unique piece of art.

Search for your own fragments to keep - Look out for the smaller 'fragments' tied around the New Mills area, some hidden, some clearly out there. If you find one of the smaller pieces you can keep it! Your own original work of art.
